I’m Not Receiving or Seeing Daily Occasional Jobs

If you're not receiving or seeing daily occasional job opportunities, here are a few reasons to consider:

  1. EasyConnect Has Not Been Set Up

Ensure that you have access to EasyConnect in your account. You should see it next to the ‘Job Postings’ section at the top of the page.

If you don’t see EasyConnect, check your school board email inbox for a linking invitation titled “[Your School Board] requested an employee account for you” from info@simplication.com.

If you received this email, you can refer to Linking/Creating Employee Account on how to link your account.

If you still don’t see EasyConnect and haven’t received the email, don’t hesitate to contact us at 1-877-900-5627 for assistance.

  1. Your Occasional Preferences Have Not Been Set Up

Ensure your Occasional Preferences are set up correctly by completing these steps:

️✅ Select Contact Preference: Verify that your contact information is accurate.

️✅ Select Assignments: Choose your preferred assignments.

️✅ Select School Locations: Choose the school locations you are interested in working at.

If you need more guidance on how to set up your Occasional Preferences, please visit Setting Up or Editing Occasional Preferences.

  1. Low Volume of Absences

There may be a lower volume of absences at the school locations you are available for. This can vary throughout the year and is especially common at the start of the school year.

  1. You Are Marked as Unavailable on Your Calendar

You will not receive jobs if you are marked as unavailable.

To check and delete your unavailability:

  1. Go to EasyConnect > My Calendar.
  2. Click on an unavailable date(s) on your calendar.
If this was set for multiple dates, you can click on any date that you’ve set as unavailable.
  1. Click Edit this event or Delete this event.

If you have followed the steps above and are still not receiving or seeing daily occasional jobs, please reach out to our support team for further assistance.
