Call EasyConnect directly at 1-855-279-3279 to accept the assignment.

Unable to Reapply After Withdrawing Your Application

The job posting may have expired or the school board does not allow applicants to re-apply.

What is the Status of My Application?

We don't know because we are not involved in the hiring process. Contact the employer instead.

Missed Application Deadline

We cannot extend the job posting deadline or accept applications for expired job postings.

How to Review Your Application

Go to the 'Jobs Applied To' and 'Review Portfolio' section.

Updating Your Application for a Job You Already Applied To

Add information (e.g. documents), make changes to your Portfolio, update your resume/cover letter.

Wrong Position/Job Category

Your account must be registered in the same position/job category as the job posting.

Stuck on a Step

This often happens in the 'Supporting Documents' section of an application.

How to Reorder Your Documents & References

Click and hold the reorder icon, then drag and drop the document to your desired spot.

Why Aren’t My Resume and Cover Letter Appearing in My Linked Account?

Resumes and cover letters are not shared between linked accounts due to school board best practices.

Why Can’t I Find the Resume or Cover Letter I Uploaded?

Check your Portfolio, ‘Jobs Applied To’ section, and other account (if applicable).

My Document Failed to Upload

Your file is corrupted or incompatible, issues with uploading documents (including PDFs).

I Haven’t Received My Pay

ApplyToEducation does not handle payroll.

I Want a Work Visa/Permit/Sponsorship

We do not handle work permit, visa, or sponsorship matters.

Verification Code Issues

Incorrect verification code, not getting a verification code.

What Is A Fill Status?

No Replacement Required – No replacement is required for this absence. Unfilled – No portion of the absence is filled.

Supervisor Approval

For PD events where supervisor is required, the employee’s supervisor/admin would require approving the request to attend the PD event before the employee can successfully complete their registration.

Step 1: Check the white box of the left of the applicant(s) name you want to email. Click the Send Email button at the bottom of the page.

Step 1: From the Applicants section, select Search Applicants.

Reviewing Adjustment Logs

Step 1: Individual adjustment logs can be viewed on the Employee Adjustment Summary page when you expand a specific entry and click Yes/No for Sent to HR.

Registering for PD Events

Employees use their PD Catalog to register for PD events and sessions.

Preferred Contact List

Follow the below instructions to add an Occasional/Casual employee to your School/Location Preferred List.

Modifying the Absence or Payroll %

If the absence % is edited to zero, this will trigger a change request to signal to HR that the absence record is no longer required.

Preferred List By Employee

Step 1: Under the EasyConnect section, select Staff List.

Step 1: Select the Job Category you want to post your job to, then add the additional categories from the Open To section.

Portfolio Preferences

Step 1: From the User Profile section, select Portfolio Preferences.

OCT Search By Qualifications

First Contact

Select your First Contact by typing the replacement's name.

There are multiple options available to generate reports on PD events.

Expired Applicants

If an applicant is greyed out in a job postings, they will not be searchable in the database. These applicants are only visible within a job posting.

Editing Absences

Step 1: Find the absence that requires editing by searching for it on the Absence List or Search Absence pages then click the Code to view the Absence Details.

EasyConnect Manuals

EasyConnect can be used to create absences, contact replacements, and fill openings. The following manuals will answer questions you may have.

Deactivating an Absence or Selected Entries

Step 1: Individual selections for the absent employee or replacement employee can be deactivated by selecting the entry and clicking Deactivate Selection (A cancellation email will be sent to the replacement if a replacement employee selection is deactivated).

EasyConnect Dashboard For Reviewing Absences

Simply click on a # to view the absences.When you click on a # or the Absence List, you can select Today or Tomorrow to review current absences.

Step 1: From the EasyConnect section, select Create Absence. Select Location, Employee Group (e.g. Elementary Teacher, ECE, etc.) and if the absence requires a Replacement (Y/N).

1. In the Scheduler section, click on Manage/View PD Events.

Create Customized Tags

Step 1: From the Administration section, select Manage Applicant Tags.

Cancelling PD Events & Unregistering Participants

PD events may only be deleted if there are no registered participants in the event. Select the event which requires removing and click Delete at the bottom of the Manage/View PD Events page.

EIN stands for Employee Identification Number.

It is assigned to each employee by your school board and is used for accepting EasyConnect assignments offered by phone.
