TEMPORARY DESIGNATED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR
The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board maintains a pool of Temporary Designated Early Childhood Educators. Candidates must be available to work on an on-call basis Monday to Friday throughout Windsor-Essex County.
Applicants must have the following requirements:
Two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent;
Proof of registration and in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators;
Recent experience working in an Early Learning Centre, Day Care, or primary classroom setting;
Pastoral letter of reference attesting to active participation in the Catholic Faith, (valid within the past 12 months) is required.
In lieu of a pastoral letter of reference a copy of a Roman Catholic Baptismal or Confirmation certificate will be required. Please Note : A pastoral letter will be required to be considered for a permanent position with the Board.
An understanding and commitment to confidentiality;
Valid and current CPR and First Aid Certificates;
Bilingual (fluency in both English & French) would be an asset;
A valid driver's licence required;
Applicants must include cover letter and resume, as well as a copy of your diploma.
