As a member of the Transportation Team, duties include repairing, inspecting, and maintaining district school buses, vehicles, and ancillary equipment in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Standards Act. Working with a team of professionals, you will apply your skills, training, and experience in the areas of mechanics and student transport. You will assist with hiring, training, and supervising the work of district bus drivers.
Minimum requirements include:
BC or Interprovincial Red Seal Certification Automotive Certificate in Heavy Duty Auto Mechanics.
Valid BC Class 2 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement (training available)
Certification as a Vehicle Inspector
Stellar communication and teamwork skills are essential.
