Part-time Accounting Position

Duties & Responsibilities

Monthly Financial Statement preparation including journal entries, bank and other balance sheet account

reconciliation, cash flow reports

Annual PSOC Audit calculation, preparing information for auditor

Assisting Treasurer and Academic Director with all financial matters including budgets, government funding, tracking expenditures, Annual Tax return

Payroll and accounts payable backup support

Skill Required

Accounting Background

Experience working in an education and/or childcare organization

Experience with Sage Software and Excel program

Strong communication skills and familiarity with working with others

Flexible work schedule that would meet an hourly demand of approximately 10 hours per month.

Pay is compensatory to skills and experience.
