2021-2022 Teacher Applicants

Edmonton Catholic Schools is currently accepting teacher applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Applications are accepted and interviews conducted for teaching positions throughout the calendar year. Successful applicants will either be hired to the 2021-2022 replacement roster with access to advertised positions, or placed directly into a position depending on Division need. Teachers under contract with ECSD have benefits with 100% of health benefit premiums paid by the Division. Please note that Edmonton Catholic Schools only considers non-Catholic applicants in specialized areas including:

Language Programs: Spanish, French, Ukrainian, Polish, Cree

CTS: Construction/Fabrication, Foods/Fashion, Cosmetology

Elementary and Secondary Music

High School Diploma Level Sciences: Physics/Chemistry

The daily rate for substitute teachers is $234.15 and the half-day rate is $141.75. Teachers receive grid rate pay on the third consecutive day in an assignment.
