Secondary Math/Sciences Teacher

St. Andrews School is hiring a probationary teacher position in the areas of Secondary Math and Science.
The position is starting for the 2022-23 school year with the possibility of extension and continuous contract if the candidate is successful. Candidate to start as soon as available. The positions require the successful candidate to teach Secondary Math and Sciences primarily in grades 10-12 but may include as well as other courses in 7-9 within the candidate's skills set.
The successful candidate ideally will have a background and understanding in Mathematics and Sciences, be flexible, support working with First Nation, Metis & Inuit students, and support the social and emotional development of children. The successful candidate requires proficiency in the use of educational technology, an understanding of assessment for learning, and being eligible to teach in the Province of Alberta.
The candidate must be willing to be working in a rural Catholic community environment and is a team player willing to collaborate, communicate and work together. HFCRD #37 division is actively recruiting teachers for upcoming positions and welcomes new graduates to apply. Preference will be given to candidates of the Catholic faith.
