Chief Tallcree Elementary School has

The Teacher will be
accountable for overseeing the day-to-day instruction of students and
developing and maintaining effective educational classroom experiences to
ensure the engagement, enjoyment, safety, and success of students. The teacher will show leadership, guidance,
and collaboration in their relationship with the Educational Assistant, and oversee
the schedule and activities of the EA .
Qualifications
Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
Successful teaching experience.
Sound knowledge/awareness of the outcomes
of the provincial curriculum.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding
of First Nations Language, Culture, Organizations, and Communities is an
asset.
Conditions of Employment
RCMP/Police Criminal Record
Check and Intervention Record Check (formerly Child Welfare Check, CWIS)
submitted prior to commencement of employment.

South Tallcree, AB approximately a 47 min drive (76.0 km) via Bicentennial Hwy/AB-88 S. of Fort Vermilion, Alberta. It will have it’s
Grand Opening in September 2021.
