Dr. Clark Public School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of ECDP Teacher.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Education.
Have demonstrated leadership in early learning at school and district level.
Have experience teaching Kindergarten or ECDP.
Have a strong knowledge of the curriculum at the early childhood level.
Demonstrate a philosophy of the importance of play and language in early learning.
Have an ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans.
Have demonstrated ability creating a classroom characterized by inclusion, equity and differentiated instruction.
Possess superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
Have proven themselves to be a team player and a positive staff member.
Have Training in The Leader in Me (TLIM) OR be willing to participate in training provided
Knowledge of Regulated Classroom strategies
Be open to new programs and initiatives.
Be a reflective practitioner.
Recognize the importance of making a strong, positive connection with all students, through classroom interactions as well as involvement with students outside the classroom. (ie. clubs and teams).
Be willing to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
Recognize the importance of promoting the school with parents and in the community.
Have skill in involving parents as partners, (parental involvement).
Possess an ability to create an effective team with educational assistants, parents and multidisciplinary professionals.
Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional growth.
