Join us for an in-person training day focused on building effective teacher selection processes in what is a challenging labour market.

This must-attend workshop provides concrete tools to effectively recruit, assess and select teachers. You will leave the session with skills and knowledge to enhance your confidence in preparing, recruiting, interviewing, and selecting candidates who align with your school board’s hiring needs and values.

The workshop addresses current topics impacting K-12 including the importance of deepening the diversity of your candidate pools and selection decisions.

WORKSHOP FACILITATOR

 

Janet Stewart

Janet is the founder of Stablehouse Solutions and its K-12 subsidiary EduSelect Services; a K-12 consultancy focused on supporting school districts’ human resource practices. Through her career, Janet held a variety of senior and executive leadership roles within the British Columbia K-12 sector and led several complex teacher recruitment and selection efforts. Her book, Hiring Well: Building Strong Selection Practices in K-12 was published in April 2021.
