Job Description & Requirements
The Ottawa Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) Outdoor Education Centres provide outdoor curriculum-based hands-on programming to a wide range of classes and students from across the Ottawa area.

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is currently seeking Outdoor Education Instructors to work on a casual basis at our two Centre locations - Bill Mason Centre and MacSkimming Outdoor Education Centre.
The OCDSB Outdoor Education Instructors are required to have a strong knowledge of the natural world, and deliver programs in Canadian history, leadership, natural science and recreation. 
Ø     Community College Diploma relating to Outdoor Education, Environmental Studies, Natural Science, and/or Recreation. 
Ø     Two (2) years experience in outdoor education or natural heritage interpretation
Ø     Experience in instructing students of various grades and adults.
Ø    Standard First Aid & CPR certification
Ø     A police records check to work with the vulnerable sector (dated within the last 6 months) and negative TB test (completed in the past year) will be required. 
You must have a valid driver’s license and access to your own vehicle in order to travel to MacSkimming (in the east end) or Bill Mason Centre (in the west end of town).
